Language is a means of knowledge, access, power and participation. Language and literacy are the critical foundations of success, the keys to a better life. By enhancing our ability to communicate with one another, we can move in many spheres with acceptance and understanding.

Learning is a process that involves the whole person emotionally, psychologically, and intellectually. As a published writer with a highest-honors degree in English, I apply over 30 years of teaching experience to help students of all abilities improve their English language skills, bolster their self-confidence, and fulfill their academic, professional, and personal goals.

My teaching methods and learning materials are research-based, multi-sensory, results-oriented, and developmentally-appropriate to correspond to the needs and learning style of each student. Each session is carefully personalized to correspond to the needs and learning style of the student.

My patient, respectful, and nurturing approach includes positive discipline, encourages collaboration, and inspires self-esteem and motivation to learn. Much can be accomplished in a short time.

Your tutoring sessions are conducted online via Zoom in my secure, private home studio.
